FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you source your fur?

We source from a furrier out of the northeastern USA. Tails especially are considered useless scrap in the industry, and are frequently trashed. We purchase these to keep them from being wasted and to bring new life and use to them. Depending on the product, tails may be from wild or farm stock. All farm stock are from EU farms, which are highly regulated.

Who makes your products?

We do! About 95% of what we sell, we make in house. There are a few items that we don't make -- the fans, for example, we created the design, but another company produced the actual fans. We are a two-woman team making everything in our basement, from concept to pattern to final product.

Do you do custom?

Yes! We typically will have a lead time of a few weeks, though. During heavy show seasons, we may be temporarily unable to do custom orders. Just reach out with your idea, and we will let you know what we can and cannot handle.

Do you have a physical shop?

We do not, but you can always find us online, or check out our show schedule on our social media to find us in person.

Are you at [insert favorite event here]?

If it's not listed on our social media, we are unfortunately not vending there. A lot of the larger standing renaissance faires throughout the country are very hard to get into. But if you want to see us at your favorite faire, please let us know, and let the faire know as well! We generally travel within a 6 hour radius of our home, but for the right show we might go further.

What allergen concerns are in your shop?

We have two dogs that play constant supervisor, and we will burn candles or incense in our home at times. We also have a wide variety of different types of furs in the workshop at any given time. If you have specific allergen concerns, please reach out and we can provide more details.
