Raccoon Tail Keychain

Genuine raccoon tails, these beauties average 9"-11" for the regular size. Extra long average 12"-14" (as shown in the last picture the difference in size between regular and XL.) Variations of gray, red, and brown run between tails, and each has a slightly different striping pattern. Perfect for your next costume or cosplay, or even as an accessory on a purse or bag, or simply as a wall hanging.

Fitted with grommets to help preserve the integrity of the leather, and then finished with lobster claw hooks, these are easily hooked onto anything and very durable. Because of how we set in the grommets, the leather WILL be exposed near the top of the tail. We do not stitch or glue it down, to allow the keychain to move more freely and keep the grommet secure. All tails are brushed and fluffed prior to sale. 

Imperfect tails will have visible stitching or repairs on the leather side, but it is not visible on the fur side.

To care for your tail, spot clean only. Handle and pet frequently! The oils from your hands are good for the fur and leather, and help keep it looking fluffy and shiny. Let air dry if wet, or dry on a low heat with a hairdryer. Slicker brushes work well to re-fluff if you want an extra-poofy look.

These also make great cat or dog toys! The leather is durable enough to hold up to teeth or claws, and they're easy to toss or dangle to entertain your pets.
