Fox Tail Keychains

Genuine, real fur taxidermy fox tails!

All of these tails are fitted with grommets to help preserve the integrity of the leather, and then finished with lobster claw hooks, these are easily hooked onto anything and very durable. Because of how we set in the grommets, the leather WILL be exposed near the top of the tail. We do not stitch or glue it down, to allow the keychain to move more freely and keep the grommet secure. All tails are brushed and fluffed prior to sale. Perfect for costume accessories, as wall hangings, or purse accents. **These pieces are meant for display and light wear, NOT daily wear or intense activities.**

To care for your tail, spot clean only. Handle and pet frequently! The oils from your hands are good for the fur and leather, and help keep it looking fluffy and shiny. Let air dry if wet, or dry on a low heat with a hairdryer. Slicker brushes work well to re-fluff if you want an extra-poofy look.

Variations are as follows:

Silver Fox - Measuring about 16"-20" from tip to tip, these tails are a stunning black and silver, with white tips and unique marbling near the tops. Super thick and fluffy fur! 

Indigo Fox - Measuring around 17"-21" long, the fur is silky, soft, and very dense, with variations of gray and black running throughout, and most (but not all) finishing with bright white tips. A perfect alternative for wolf if you're looking for beautiful gray colors. 

Blue Shadow - 13"-15" long, these are incredibly soft with dense fur that tends to go a little wild in places. With a white or ivory base, they have overtones of gray to gray-brown, and each one has a slightly different pattern. Because the leather on these is thinner, they are NOT recommended for heavy or daily wear, and are best left as wall hangers or special occasion pieces.

Cross - Averaging 16"-19" long. Shades of brown, red, and black, almost all with white tips. Incredibly fluffy and soft! 

Marble Fox - Averaging 17"-19" long. Primarily white with swirls and patches of gray or black.

Pastel Fox - Averaging 17"-19" long. Shades of pale brown over cream, very unique from tail to tail. Dense soft fur.

Fawn Light - Averaging 16"-19" long. Shades of pale brown, white and gray, similar to Golden Island but more pale

Red Fox - Averaging 15"-17" long. Shades of red and brown, most (but not all) have a white tip and a soft, silky feel.

Frost phase fox: Assorted tones of frost fox mutation color, typically pale gray or brown tones. These are a little smaller, averaging closer to 15", but still very soft and full of character. See picture for some usual variations, but I cannot guarantee any particular color in stock.

XL varieties - The last picture shows a normal sized tail compared to an XL side. XL will be at least 19"-20" long, and very fluffy.
